Administration

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Oakland Elementary! I am thrilled to begin another exciting chapter in partnership with our incredible students, families, and community. Oakland is a place where learning is centered on growth, connection, and purpose, and I cannot wait to see what this year holds for us.

This year, our journey is guided by our school theme: Wings Up, Mind Sharp, Heart Strong

At Oakland, we envision a community where education shapes confident, compassionate individuals who become leaders of positive change. Our theme reflects our deep commitment to the whole child, ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and inspired every single day:

As your principal, I am deeply committed to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered environment. Strong partnerships with our families are the foundation of our success, and together, we will build a school community where every child thrives.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. I look forward to an incredible year filled with discovery, joy, and growth.

With gratitude and excitement,

Lindsay Burns
